Panel Gluing Presses

The Makron manufacturing system for mineral fibre sandwich panels is based on discontinuous press technology. Curing of the adhesive takes place in the strong hydraulic press while the panel does not move. The pressing plates are machine finished and heated up to an optimum temperature for the adhesive's curing. The press and the conveyors are built to the maximum panel length, typically to 12 – 13 meters.

Advantages of the Makron Press System:

• High quality panel surfaces due to pressing between two accurate platens
• Strong panels due to optimum compression of mineral fibre core. Final panel thickness and compression of the mineral fibre core is determined by mechanical stoppers of the press
• Production of mineral fibre panels with discontinuous Makron system is easy to start and easy to control
