Basic Features
Corner joint notching, drilling, end notching and cross cutting for squared logs are the basic machining and inluded as standard features in every Logmatic XL Machining Centre.
In addition to the basic features, a large number of optional machining is available for both rectangular and round logs.
Some machining that is needed infrequently, takes place outside the Logmatic XL machining centre itself. For example, log slitting and angular cross cutting are performed by a separate saw unit which is normally integrated to the end of the Logmatic XL processing line. Universal work unit, which is designed for making different types of special machining, such as dovetail joints, bay window machining, etc., can also be integrated as a stand alone unit to the Logmatic XL line.
On this website you will find some examples of Logmatic XL basic machining for rectangular logs.
